Top 5 Favorite Places to Eat in Bear Lake | Family Friendly Restaurants

There are SO many places to eat in Bear Lake Idaho. Garden City has so many choices, especially during the summer. While there are GREAT seasonal options, we chose Places to Eat in Bear Lake that are open year round for convenience. These are right in town a few blocks from our rental.

1. Cody’s Garage

Anyone will tell you that Cody’s is the BEST place to eat in Bear Lake. The food is unique and delicious. Family friendly classics…but better. Cody’s serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. And most importantly – they are open year round.

If you go to Cody’s during busy season (Summer or Weekends during Ski Season), expect an hour wait! Definitely make reservations when you can or go earlier in the day.

2. Cafe Sabor

Another classic family friendly restaurant is Cafe Sabor. They are known for their Mexican cuisine. We love that they are open year round with all the best Mexican classics. They have great tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, chips and salsa and more!

3. Firehouse Pizza

Firehouse is known for pizza, pasta and bread made on the stone. Yumm. We love Firehouse pizza because there is something for everyone! It’s a great family restaurant in Bear Lake!

4. Zipz (Seasonal)

Though seasonal Zipz is one of our FAVORITE Places to Eat in Bear Lake. Its a convenient drive thru. But we love it most for it’s super fun environment. Kids can sit in boats to eat their fries and shakes. They have the Bear Lake classics (burger and raspberry shakes). Plus, they have wings, corn dogs, fish and chips and other fun food.
